The Dominican election rules seem to change frequently.

I wish to vote in the 2020 election coming up in May from abroad.

I acquired Dominican citizenship four years ago but have never voted in a DR election.

Does anyone have advice on how I should go about doing so? How far in advance of the election can I obtain the ballot?

IWe live in NJ when we’re not in DR. My husband is registered to vote in Dominican elections at a location in Atlantic City. Ask around where you live, do you know any Dominicans?

This is the list of where you can vote and each office may operate supplementary voting stations so best to ask the one nearest you.

Does the DR permit absentee voting such as receiving and submitting the ballot by mail?
