    Thanks Alterego! Our Dominican families have already started to decorate for Christmas!! We don't start here in Nova Scotia until at least after Remembrance Day. But I appreciate getting a head start on some of the traditions...especially given facetimes lately have had Xmas trees in the background!!

    I'm looking forward to the pasteles Gaby makes every year.. I really like xmas in the DR. all the food being roasted in the street, music blaring, ceveza flowing, happy people.. I've not experienced anything that equals Christmas eve in the DR.
