    Default Rolling the Dice

    My credit card was compromised (again) and the company wants to UPS me a new one

    Cabrera has a UPS drop off office -
    so I instructed the card company to send it there

    UPS Office
    Cabrera
    Dominican Republic 33000

    I wonder my chances of getting it ??

    I knew I was right to stick with debit cards

    Jokes aside, the supermarkerts here in the dr now have realcard terminals ( and not the swipy swipy ones ) which is great news for me.
    Also i can parameter my cards to ask for biometrics above a certain amount ( by way of combo phone/internet ).
    And one of my card/bank apps has a cool feature : i can instantly block deblock geographic zones and internet payements. So i can leave it blocked and when needed i deblock it.

    The problem isn’t from here.... I don’t use that card here

    Somehow, somewhere... it got scammed

    So far no problems with my cards here.... that will curse me

    I used Fed Ex for a replacement card delivered to CPS, Sosua (that was all the address they needed since CPS is a Fed Ex partner) - next day delivery all paid for by Citibank

    The only thing is you may have to activate it by a means other than your registered number in the US. I did it by SKYPE

    ..WW.. had the same problem with a debit card...UPS was totally unreliable.. would never tell me the day or time of delivery...in the end after 2 weeks of this, I went to their office in the Santiago airport, waited 45 minutes in line with people with my same problem...Lady at the airport told me everybody that leaves that UPS office is MAD...hope it goes better for you..fed ex is your friend here...…….Doc...…...

    FEDEX and UPS both quoted me over $100 if the were aware that the shipment included an ATM card!
