Default Helicopters flying low over Perla Marina & Encuentro Beaches

Is someone missing at sea? This is the second day helicopters have been circling back & forth.Today they started before 8 am. Hope it's just some training exercise.

Do they happen to say Lifestyes? I heard a 'copter just a few minutes ago and was guessing it was tourists being shuttled to and from Cabarete, but I have not actually seen the helicopter yet.

No, I wouldn't be asking if I read Lifestyles on the helicopters. FB is now reporting someone was caught in a rip yesterday and they are looking for the body.

One actually went very low on Sunday about 5pm over Sosua beach, I thought it was so low it could hit the hotels on the end of the bay... ! But they do that sometime, this was on Sunday, almost dark black colour helicopter, can't be related to a drowning on Monday though....

Yes an American has been missing since yesterday off the beach in Cabarete. He lived in Santiago.

Between POP and Cab., ocean front
Another just passed. 1 about every hour during daylight since yesterday...AM? Search has been intensive by air. Good job for their efforts. No boats seen looking.

Until they find a body how is it determined that they have drowned?
