    The sim you use doesn't matter. Aslong as it has data. You can text the driver through the uber app free and or call through the app but they will text 99% of the time since they probably dont have any minutes on their phone.

    - Your US SIM card will work with roaming charges
    - There is free WiFi at SDQ which will allow you to connect to UBER app
    - I have taken UBER from airport 3 times with no issues. Sometimes drivers ask for cash payment, in which case i cancel the ride and get another one.
