    Off topic we go:

Who is using banker’s checks in this century, and why? I can’t understand that hassle, looking at the lines at some popular banks. I myself choose deliberately a bank without long lines for my transactions.
Is that adapting, yes of course. The same reason I avoid air transfers that involve US airports, long lines and a lot of security hassle.

Just curious, I have bought property and cars here using wire transfers. Never occurred to me that bankers’s checks were used anymore, I am not American. Why do some still prefer that old fashion system?

why? because i was renewing my Jamaican passport, and you have to submit a banker's check made out to the Ministry of National Security..

i am a dinosaur, and i do not understand many of the functions of a smartphone, but i have to do what i am instructed to do in many cases.

So, as promised, I had a visit from a very special Santa Claus today and will never be able to thank you enough for your extreme generosity to me right now.

Default Nice to see you W.B.

A little awkward and had a hard time finding your chimney (road). Glad all the reindeer had rested to get up/down that road. lol.

And ya... I think that Lindsey had a little to do with prompting me.

For some reason I flashed back to Eartha Kitt. ???

That should work as long as you can transfer to the DR.

Oh my goodness, I am shocked but in a good way! The manager at the pharmacy saw my dilemma immediately and, after a little bit of time, he was happy to repay the money which I did not receive on Monday although the withdrawal went through my bank. What a day and I owe it to Lindsay (my best friend) for sending me good vibes and she had promised to pay for my eye operations for cataracts so maybe this has been her way of helping with that.... thank you Lindsay and thank you DR Solar
