If you want to try the 'old fashioned ' way

Look at Mercado Libre & Corotos for your breed - then contact the owners
The good ones will have paperwork and knowledge

I found 2 excellent Boxers that way....

WW - I tried that found one, no papers so I dont trust purebred.... but will keep checking, also going to try and go to the dog shows in SD to look.

It is me I would import a dog.
Larger number of choices, guarantee pure bred, often with screening for issues like hip dysplasia.
I am a life long purebred dog fancier and would want the best possible pup available along with AKC registration and the breeding lineage of both parents.
I have bred and shown Staffordshire Bull Terriers in Florida for a long time.
I owed six before I got a world beater that finished his championship in short order.
At age 15 when he was so arthritic he limped people would comment on what a beautiful dog.
I always wanted to see both parents and the full litter.
In the US there are Rottweiler clubs that could be a lot of help.
The cost of purchase in not much in comparison to what you will spend on food, and health care over the dogs life.
