    Default B&B in/nearby zona colonial

I'm looking for a B&B in/nearby the zona colonial, any recommandations?

I can’t speak about B&Bs in SD, but take a look at the boutique hotels like Casa Sánchez. Lovely old colonial home converted into hotel, breakfast included.

I second Casa Sanchez. I’d also recommend El Beaterio. It’s nothing to look at from the street, but the interior is a beautifully restored 16th century convent. They have a restaurant inside as well.

How long will your stay be and what is your price range? The Hotel El Conde de Penalba is a nice hotel in the heart of the Colonial Zone. The price is right. The rooms are comfortable and they have a nice outdoor cafe.

Outside the zona we recently discovered Hotel San Marco on Calle Santiago, Zona Universitaria. About US$85 per night for a double room with breakfast. Particularly convenient if using Expreso Bávaro.
