    Smile Tiguerita

Not new... but it's been awhile so... here we go!

    I am Canadian (from Montreal).
I have been living in the DR (Santo Domingo) on and off since 2001.
I am also a Dominican citizen.
I have a Dominican spouse and 3 kids (Dominicanadienses).
I have experience living and working in the DR and traveling back and forth with a family.
I have loads of experience with immigration Canada and Dominican JCE paperwork...
I am a licensed teacher in the province of Québec, Canada.
I am trilingual (English, French & Spanish)
    I love cooking.
I love running away on the weekend and experiencing new parts of the DR (& Canada depending on where we are) with my husband and the kids.

    There you have it.

I signed up in 2004... I think at the time it was a play on the positive connotations (not the negative ones) of the expression "Tiguere" being someone who is
street-smart or aware of their surroundings... but I'm also based in the capital & Liceísta so, I like to think it works for me

When I first came back in 2017, I applied at a few well known private schools (mid-year). They never phoned & I ended up finding a job fairly quickly & let it be.

The company I was working with since then & up to last week lost the contract I was on (to a company in Mexico) & I am looking for a new opportunity now.
