    Both methods can be manipulated. They have more practice with the manual method. And they still have their kickbacks from the purchase of the expensive electronic equipment. Win-win?

    The higher the stakes, the more desperate people become, and the more likely the violence.

    I wonder how much of this could have been avoided, if any, had Leonel accepted the PLD primary vote? This is vaguely similar to Honduras a few years ago...
