Does anybody know about this law? Somebody told me that foreign investors do not have to pay real estate purchase taxes if they invest in tourist zones. Is this true?
Law 158-01 provides incentives to businesses investing in certain tourist areas. It does not exempt an individual from having to pay transfer taxes on a property purchase.
