Does anyone have knowledge relating to Mushroom farms in the DR? If there are such things, does anyone have names, Te. No's, E-mail, Website details please? I am not so interested in the mushromms themselves, more the compost etc needed to grow the things!!
Any help greatly appreciated!! - Grahame.

Mushrooms soil

Steamed soil is probably what you are looking for. I've seen the equipment used for this on Japanese agricultural projects here in the DR.

When I visited one in Jarabacoa

They used old sugar cane garbage that had been mulched and sanitized.
