Hopefully the Dominican ladies can rebound and upset someone to make the playoff picture a bit more sticky.
Off to an 0-5 start, they are hoping for a big upset and gain their first win at the ISF ladies Softball World Championships in Saskatoon, Canada.

That the ladies are more interested in their plans to defect and stay in Canada or the USA if they can find a way to the border, than they are on playing the game.

More seriously, it seems that ladies softball does not have amajor backer like the volleyball team does. They are world ranked now. The men suck. The men's softball team should make a semi-decent showing because of all the ex-ballplayers on board...

Oh yes, there is women's soft ball in the Pan Am Games...
