Best Western Metro Hotel
From what I've seen and been told
it's one of the best resorts in the area.
While no-one we know stayed there this winter in previous years we have had friends who stayed there. They liked it because the food was good, there is free transportation and reduced fees at Metro Golf (so bring your clubs if you play or you can rent), fishing trips can be arranged from the marina and the dive centre is located on the beach. It is close to Guilia's and other good restaurants on the street for a change from AI meals and don't forget Guilia's live band Salsa/Merengue/Bachata party Monday nights.
Not the grandest resort anymore with all the newer construction but definitely one of the better resorts.

I have been on their website several times and the room rates seem reasonable. You pay by the room and not by the amount of people per night. I just haven't really ever heard anything about it. I might try it this Sept. for a night or two, but would love to hear anyone else experience.
