Basic answer, no. I do not know of any wireless providers here.
We have an Apple AirPort in the office here, that's as close as you are most probably going to get.

Thank's for the reply. I am doing some research for our Co., Buffalo Wireless, as to the feasibility of providing service in the DR.
Please let me know if you have any further thoughts on this.

Thank's Jim, we are looking to set up a point to point land based microwave system. It will not be satellite, although we do sell satellite systems here in NY, so that may be something to look into also.
