Plastic Surgery

Hello,

I am planning to come to DR in or around December. A friend of mine just recently had plastic surgery there and said that it came out really good. Unfortunatly, she moved away and I haven't had a chance to speak to her about it. I was wondering if anyone can help me contact a credible cosmetic surgeon? I do not speak spanish so a bi-lingual surgeon would be a great help. Any information would be very valuable as I do not seem to find much via internet, and I want to be very careful.

I am sure you will have no trouble finding a bilingual doctor, QueenHoneyBee. There was a news item recently about the huge number of people from all over the world that come here each year for cosmetic surgery.

Do a search in the archives with the keywords plastic + surgery. You should find a wealth of information there. This is discussed at lenght every summer

it (the site) is in English and they have a list and e-mail/phone #'s of the plastic surgeons there so you can inquire as to specialty and cost in advance.

Even if you go to another reputable hospital I am sure an inquiry will give you the general idea as to cost and availability of services.

Avoid some operators working out of hotels etc., even if less costly.
