I have recently moved to Santo Domingo from Europe to carry out a project for my university studies. This forum has been a great help. Now I am wondering if there are any other foreign students, or maybe junior interns or voluntaries, in SD that are using this forum. Since I am not based in an SD university, don't take classes etc, I don't have a natural point of access to the city life. So I am thinking that I could need some guidance from a person around my age who has some experience of coming to the city as a foreigner and exploring its social and cultural offerings. Maybe some tips on what places to visit, which activities to take part in and so on. Anyone who feels that they have some experience to share are more than welcome to do so.
