Need to buy a Tourist Visa in the DR

I want to buy a Tourist Visa here in the DR and send it on up to the US to my dear old mom for her visit.

I don't want her to get lost in the Miami airport looking for the American Airlines counter that sells these visas, and I don't want her standing in the back of a line of 300 smoking Frenchmen who just got off of a 747 and are waiting to buy their Tourist visas in the DR Immigration Salon either. I just want to buy it here, fill it out for her, and send it up so she can breeze off of the plane and through Immigration without once having to say "Me no 'peaky 'panish my love". It would help to get the DR Customs form too.

Where and how can I do this, without needing to stand in a line, and without her passport of course, just the US$10 in hand and a smile? Hell, if I need to, I will hold out my passport to just get it bought.

Help, someone? ( I have posted this here because I LIVE here, in Santo Domingo, and I don't read the Travel section- sorry if I offend anyone by this).

Have your mom ask for the AA tourist visa counter when she checks in at the AA main counter. They will escort her to it if she asks. The DR customs form is passed out while on the plane.

The line up for the Tourist cards has been short or non existent the last 2 trips via SDQ so the delay may be minimal, however if she's connecting/starting in MIA, at the Caribbean/International check in at MIA there is a counter that says TWOV/Tourist cards ( you can give up waiting at the departure gate since they don't do that now) or also the Admirals Club sells them if she is a member.

So you can basically check in and get the card 10 feet apart - it is right near Area B almost between B and C.
