I have been visiting this pages since 3\4 months before taking the decision to write...Why? because I have a story that I kept inside of me for 5 years which nobody else knows, and now I need to tell this story to people like you, perfect strangers...
I do this for me, becuase if I keep on hiding it will kill me...and I know I'm taking some risks; hurts, sarcasm, knifes into my stomach, but I'm ready!

Where to start?

From the almost last portion.
On August this year I told another lie to my family (wife, two sons, male and female) and, instead of going to NY for a business trip of 8 days, I jumped outside the plane and get into another one, destination Santo Domingo Airport, destination my lover...

His brother was waiting for me at the airport; it was hot and crowded, but better then the last time I was there (1998). It seems like Santo is becoming a modern place. Painted, clean, at least th airport...
"Hola Fidel" and then we jumped on the car, destination Herrera.
The car was not his car "I hired this car for a week maybe two...it's 600 pesos for the whole week, it's not cheap but now I don't have enough money to buy one" this red Toyota was a little damaged, and the radio was working cuando le da la gana, but who cares? I just sit back and relax, Belchis was just an hour away...
You know the way to Herrera, so it's useless to tell you, Puente Duarte, the new skyway that I didn't remember, then you find the 6 lane road which goes to the Autopista, on the left the Airport, turn left and go straight...but also here something was changed.
"Hamilton, they putted traffic-lights on the crossroad? wow, just close to Belchis home!" - "Si, Fidel, pero no se si es pejor o mejor.."
We were 300 meters away...I recognized the two colmados while we were slipping slowly trough some craters on the road, la peluqueria where she goes every week. Turn right and the white wall around his house there. Stop, get out, my hearth was thumbling.
I opened the gate and step in. His mother, the first people I saw. she runned to me and gave me a big hook "Bienvenido, Fidel, qui esta tu casa y tu familia" she tried to take my baggage, but I said no, when Chon appeared on the door "Fidel, cono, llegaste! fiiiiiiiiii" he said starting to whistle as usual. he took my baggage, and there was nothing I could do. Chon, one of the son of Belchis mother's sister which lives sometimes en el campo and sometimes in the city. He has two families, one in Herrera (the old one, he divorced and left his wife and three kids that now are 16, 14 and 12), and get another family and another son still in Santo, cerca de l'Autopista.
This guy which I believed was a tigre to me (and he probably is whit the other people) gave me a big hook as well and called me "Hermano, vamos hacer una fiesta esta noche, tu va ver...manana voy a hacer un negocio (he works in the Real Estate business, in the low-end segment..) Y consiguo 30.000 pesos de comisi?n...Ahy, esta noche, no manana, esta noche nos vamos por la Candel? (the hot barrio, very hot...), tu deja Belchis qui que ya no sirve y vamos, muchaco, ahy chicas que tu no sabes..."
I declined for the moment, but the hook of this guy was good to me, while I was looking for my love inside the house.
he stepped out "entoces cerveza! vuelvo pronto!" and runned out whistling hard to the next colmado.
In the meantime all the other people of the house appeared:
-Mariana, Belchis daughter, that I know since 1998 "ahi Fidel, I missed you a lot in these weeks..." and she jumped on me. I brought Mariana and his mother to the Airport end of July, so it was almost 20 days since the last time we were together at the restaurant for their last day in Europe...
-Yanery, Hamilton's wife; they both live in Belchis house with their 9 months old son, because she lost her job and Hamilton is trying to set up a businees with a medium size truck, but they don't make enough so Belchis said "come to my home, we will find a bed and some food"
-Marlene, the young maid. She seems very nice and has a beau tiful smile on his dark skin
-Breiling, one of the Hamilton's sons before knowing and marrying Yanery.Tall and skinny, sometimes sad.
-the other two Belchis brother; Pablo y Jos?, very different one from the other. Pablo, young and skinny, always smiling and looking for chicas, crazy for dancing, low eater and non drinking. Jos?, very tuff future lawyer, don't like the dominican culture too much (he prefers English music and some of the South American bands politycally engaged); his is a Chief (I call him el nuevo Jefe), and he put his will of law, order and discipline on himself first; one fianc?e, no drinking, no dancing, only studying hard to get his targets...he said sanchoco is "agua sucia"...I disagree.
While I was looking at my family, here she is.
Smiling, with blue jeans and a cotton shirt, a river of red hair around her face and on her shoulders, her eyes and her mouth of big lips where all the juice is...She looked a little darker then before; her bronze colour turned to a light-coffe one...
I kissed her in front of the people and put my arms around her "the trip was nice mi amor?" she said while preparing the table (it was 6 pm), helped from Yanery, Marlene and her mother.
Then the talking started, loud, clear...the dogs entered into the kitchen from the patio, the cat sneaked out, Pablo went back from work as well as his father Javier. Chon went back from the colamdo still whistling with a load of frozen Presidente, starting again to make plans for the night...and while all this parade was going home I felt home again.
Open cerveza, talk, eat, not all togehter but step by step, eveybody with his timing, somebody taking a shower, the neighbour steps in because he runned our of aceite.
"come amor que despues no vamos arriba en la cama...tu quieres hacerte la ducha ahora...Mami, lleva el arroz...Marlene, donde son los vasos?"
The smile started inside of me, this is my family, again! the rice and beans with bacalao y agauate was delicious and I was hungry after the hot dog I had in NY. Belchis was eating with me together with Yanery while the others no tenian hambre or they were busy doing something else...
Then suddenly we all felt a big shoot close to the house "Ahy Dios que fue" said Belchis mother. Then another three shoots very close to the house.
"Ahy, ahy, la policia esta tirando a los de la huelga!!"
Belchis left the table, very slowly, and closed the backdoor and the windows. Then she went back to eat "esto no es nada, depreocupate, el muro de atras es muy largo..."
Nobody was scared so I decided to do the same; I didn't want my rice to get cold and the cerveza to get hot.
This was my first day. First night is not available to strangers.

Well, Fidel, I'm glad you are ready for the sarcasm that will "knife into your stomach". For starters, this is posted in the wrong section. the Clown Bin or Men from Mars and Women from Venus would be the proper place for this posting.

Well, to me my story is more "Living" because it's about the last 5 years of my life. Living because the storm which took my life could bring me there in the next couple of months, forever...

 Is that it? So your a sneaky man that is cheating on his wife. What do you want from us? You should have kept it inside. It's not a very impressive story.

Another cheat

Urban Legends reported after 9/11 and man on his way to his office on the 92nd floor of the WTC decided to take the day of and visit his mistress, for a session on made passionate love.
Meanwhile his wife hearing about the WTC terrorist attack was frantically try to call him all morning, no answer.
Around 11:30 am unknowing as to the tragic events that had happened he dressed to leave for work and get in an afternoon at the office. He turns on his cell phone and it almost immedately rings, his wife frantic asking him if he is OK and where are you.
To which he replied "at the office of course".
Another cheat caught in the act!

give the F#@$ing cheater a break

ok group.. .hold on

give him a break... there is a purpose for his writing this story... just the fact that it took him years to build up the courage and spill his guts out to some strangers shows that this is a touchy situation, and yet another story of a GOD DAMN CHEATING A$$H01e... that is now confused and needs someone to talk to.

i have to admit that this forum has helped me so i'm sure buddy over here wants help?
first question? what is it that you want help with...you're spilling your heart out with a lot of detail (are you a writer by any chance... cause that's some crazy ass DEEEEEETAIL THERE)... YET no question to us... your friendly (or sometimes not so friendly) strangers.

secondly... as long as you lead this double life... you will never be at peace. what took you years to tell some people (stragers!!!) will eat you up for many years to come if you don't put an end to this.

last note... you say you have a daughter? how would you feel if her future husband left on occasional 'business trips' only to cheat on her with (i'm presuming) a younger and hotter woman???
would that eat you inside? would you want to KILL him??? is your father in-law alive??? i'm gonna tell on you LOL

buddy - make a decision and start living with complete happiness... .sooner or later there will be a large explosion or dilemma if you don't put an end to this!

Ok, now my understanding of Spanish is fairly basic, my understanding of Spanglish even more so, but I at least figured if i kept reading i'd get the jist of it. No jist, nothing. Was there a point to this story? If someone who speaks Spanish and whatever other languages were included in the post could leave a brief synopsis i would greatly appreciate it. For a while there it seemed like it was getting interesting....

You're right, Lee-Lee, there was a purpose for his writing this story. And at least some of us cynics who have been monitoring this board for a time, when we see a newcomer posting something like this, can't help but think the purpose was to have a little fun.

OK - I have to get a grip here! I just can't stop laughing at all the responses. Am I the only one pissing in my pants because I'm laughiung so hard?

Lee-Lee, I must say, you are a saint. I love the positive attitude you always seem to portray.

Ken, I have no words for you, I'm still bursting here! LOL

Anna, I'm with you. What is this guy thinking. Does he want pitty from us? OR Does he want us to call his wife and take him out of his misery?

Mickey, you are too funny. I speak spanish and english and I think I'm still a bit confused, so don't feel bad. You ask "what's the jist?". I can only say - good question!

Ken, I was thinking the same. Then again, you never know.

X-man, good advise. I was wondering too "what's a female son?" seriously.

Fidel, finally ahhhhhh, my words to you. I don't know if this was a joke or not. If it is - I sure got my share of laughs, not by your post but, by the responses. If this isn't a joke, I truly advise you to get a grip on your life. Question: Does Belchis know you have a wife and children? If so, God bless her soul! She's in big trouble with the guy upstairs. If she doesn't then, your in bigger trouble than I thought because, not only will one and/or both women will eventually find out of the double life you've been living, when they do you are going to wish the earth swallows you up.

I guess I can only repeat myself, "get a grip on your life". Do what's right and be honest with the ones you love but specially be honest to yourself! (and "strangers" for that matter).

You think there is a chance that Fidel is for real? I would hate to think that such a sorry individual had taken an interest in dr1.

Common guys. the guy got himself a Dominican whore in Europe; she screwed him blind, invented a new number system for him, and he fell in love with that wild sex. he is a bs person thru and thru. Funny reading however, since he gets his sexes mixed up and he must be illiterate in both languages. What kind of a company would hire this guy> Must be B.S. Inc. (Barrel Scrapings, INC)....< and what woman would believe her hubby is a way on an 8 day trip for business for this B.S. company???

Just go to Gran almirante hotel and watch for yourself. I have yet to meet an american or other foreign business (married) men who have not asked for action at night. Like I said before, these gringo married men are the worst. They pick up the first sleezy hooker that they could find betting in the casino table. Fidel might have made up this story but I can assure you that most foreign married men in Dominican republic are not saints. Just spend time in a casinos of the 2 major hotels in santiago and see it with your own eyes.

Are we still talking about this guy. Why hasn't he responded or stood up for himself or, or WHATEVER!

I think we're waisting time here!

p.s. - My hubby is a gringo married to a wonderful dominicana/americana (no, I'm not a whore) do we always need to generalize? But like dominicans frequently say "a quien le sirve el zapato que se lo ponga". FYI: I haven't felt offended yet, thankfully! LOL
