Punta to Puerto Plata, how much$ , how long of a drive??

Hey there I'm new to this site, and find it really interesting and helpful. I wondering if anyone one knew if there are buses that go from Punta cana to Puerto Plata, and how much it would cost and how long of a ride is it?? Any info would be appreciated

Travelgirl. It is a long trip, includes bus transfers and taxi's, scheduling, and patience. Cost would be around approximately RD $500 (bus & taxi) and a full day travel, providing everything links up properly.

Example: Taxi, Airport to Bavaro Bus Stop; Bus ( Bavaro to Santo Domingo or Barvaro to Higuey - Higuey to Santo Domingo); Taxi, transfer bus station to bus station; Bus (Santo Domingo to Santiago - Santiago to Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo to Puerto Plata) Regards, PJT
