I just returned from my first visit to the Dominican and loved everything about it.

Having that Mama Juana with dinner was wonderful. I only returned with one bottle and several freinds are fighting over it. Does anyone know if I can purchase this amd have it shipped to the states or can it be purchased in the states?

I doubt it on both counts but don't quote me as I'm not an expert!
If dry filled it may not be allowed because of the plant material contained in it and if "wet" it may not be allowed because of the alcohol content. Also it is seldom if ever labelled as to ingredients.
A call to Customs should let you know.

GO ON THE INTERNET OR JUST BUY THE DRY BOTTLE WITH THE HERBS IN IT AND THEN AMKE YOU R OWN

You can just re-fill the bottle and let it set for a while.Re-fill with some "Night Train" wine, and a little rum.Hillbilly and Pib (Aunt Clara) might have their recipes.I have never heard of drinking it with dinner.I like a "sip" before "Bed" when the Viagra runs out!CRIS

I have a bottle at home in Canada that is about 8 yrs old! I just "top" it up once in a while. Our Dominican friends that come to visit (both those that live in Canada and those from the DR) LOVE the "aged" quality of it!! I "drain" it once in a while (about 1/2 only) into another bottle for drinking then top up the original to let it continue aging!!
