Can anyone give me info on the following?
My Dad received a letter with his monthly SS check.
It states he has to call a number in the capital where he was advised that he has to open a bank account and call back with the account number.
I called the SS office here in the states but they could not assist me(they want my dad to call).
Of course we would never do such a thing without written confirmation from the US SS office however I would like to know if any of you have received such a notice.
My dad says 3 of his friends have the same note, but they also have the same courier.
