I hope I don't offend anyone...but I'm not particularly known for being politically correct...

This is what I believe in, and it's just my way of saying to all the wonderful friends I have made here on DR1:

Have a wonderful CHRISTMAS and may 2003 be happy and properous to all!!!

Santa lives at the North Pole ...
JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh ...
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year ...
JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies ...
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited ...
JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and then enters
your heart when invited.

You have to wait in line to see Santa ...
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap ...
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is
"Hi little boy or girl, what's your name?" ...
JESUS knew our name before we were born.

Not only does He know our name,
He knows our address too.
He knows our history and future and
He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ...
JESUS has a heart full of love

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO ...
JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry" ...
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you."

Santa's little helpers make toys ...
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs
broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but ...
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree ...
JESUS became our gift and died on a tree.... The cross.

We need to put Christ back in CHRISTmas,
Jesus is still the reason for the season.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not
perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

Love it musicqueen! Bless you and your family and have a very Merry Christmas. I'm trying very hard to always tell my grandchildren what Christmas is really about. And it ain't Santa! Although St. Nick did play a generous part in his time

Preach it sister!

I loved that!

My favorite part of Christams is the holy music, especially "Oh holy night".

O holy night,
the stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth.

Long lay the world, in sin and error pining,
'TIL HE APPEARED AND THE SOUL FELT IT'S WORTH.

A thrill of hope!
The weary world rejoices!

For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

Fall on your knees,
All hear the angel voice voices!
Oh night divine, oh night when Christ was born!!!!!

:) :) :)

I loved reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" every Christmas Eve to my son before he went to bed. And when he woke before going out to open presents we read the bible about the birth of Jesus. We always had a birthday cake for Jesus. And sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.
It was funny our last Christmas together. He was 19. He still wanted me to read the stories to him.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies ...
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Actually he doesn't just do that. You just can't go to him and ask him for a new car. On the other hand, Jesus will happily supply you with mental food. I'm talking about the knowledge of the Bible here.

We need to put Christ back in CHRISTmas,
Jesus is still the reason for the season.

Jesus birth took place in late spring early summer. Not in winter. The whole Christmas concept is misplaced.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ...
JESUS has a heart full of love

How true. Read Romans 8:39.

Santa lives at the North Pole ...
JESUS is everywhere.

Moreover Jesus is situated in, what people call "Heaven", where He wit the other 144000 will soon rule over the earthly paradise.

Feel free to post any questions or comments. :)
