A Visit to the Social Security Office
A retired gentleman goes to his local Social Security office to apply for his social security benefits. After waiting in line a long time he finally gets to the counter.
The woman representative behind the counter asks him for his drivers license and social security card in order to verify his identity, age, and eligibility.
The man takes out his social security card from his shirt pocket and hands it to the rep behind the counter. Looking for his driver's license he suddenly realizes that he left his wallet at home. He tells the woman that he is very sorry but he seems to have left his wallet at home. "I will have to go home and come back later."
The woman says, "No need Sir, please unbutton your shirt."
Somewhat surprised the man opens his shirt revealing lots of curly silver hair. She says, "Sir, that silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me of your age," and she hands him back his social security card and finishes processing his application.
When he gets home, the man excitedly tells his wife about his experience at the social security office.
She says, "You should have dropped your pants, you might have gotten disability too."
