The anti-war demonstrations last weekend, especially those in the USA, were organized by a Marxist socialist anti-Western group called the Workers World Party. For those of you who marched, these are your friends.

People marched because they had enough with the american BS. Unlike many on this board, a whole majority of americans just don't enjoy killing innocent people to further their greedy interests.
many americans are showing thier true colors and standing up to this nazi american bullshit. People had enough of this Bullshit "war on terrorism" and stupid embargos on whatever country that doesn't kiss american ass.
So please stop scoring points with the american government and the jews and stand up and act like real men and stop the wars and stop hurting people in their own countries. Most americans now want peace and they want security in their own land. Many americans are waking up and taking action. I salute to all the good americans who have the guts to protest and make their voices heard.

Yeah, and 9-11 never happened. Sheesh man, do you really believe what comes out of your mouth?

For you information it isn't the Jews that run the Country, it is the White Anglo Saxon Protestants, and it is these very same people that are going to take out Saddam.

I know you love Saddam and the evil he has provided for his country and your fellow Muslims. I know that you think using Chemical weapons on your countrymen, the Kurds was ok because they aren't Muslims like you and Saddam, and in a war with the Iranians (whom of course I have no good feelings for), but others do NOT.

This isn't about OIL. It is about a surrender agreement that Saddam was supposed to live up to but didn't. This is about this Thug that has these weapons who would gladly give these to the other THUGS of the Middle East to HURT the USA.

Those Americans that have protested have been mislead. Just as you are mislead. For heavens sake, you have family in Atlanta. How would you feel if YOUR family is affected by this crap? I would hate to say "I told you so", but you don't seem to learn. The Europeans pacified Hitler when he killed Germans both Jews, Gypsies and anything else that wasn't Arayan and that didn't work. Hell you would have been next. You think he had any love for Muslims??

Yeah I know you still think it is a Jewish conspiracy and 9-11 didn't happen and it was the darn Israelis that blew up those buildings... Spare me that bs this time please.

Will I have the last word before Robert closes this thread? I will take bets on this one:)

What can I say, jazzcomm. All I know is that I am as appalled by much of AZB's take on the situation as you are.

Just to point out, and I'll try not to be too facecious (sp?) this time, that you can join these demos without being any of the following:

(a) a starry eyed pacifist
(b) a knee-jerk liberal
(c) a supporter of Saddam
(d) anti-US and/or anti-Semitic
(e) a flag-burning moron

If you knew anything about me and my background, you would know that I am far from any of these. Well, maybe a liberal, but not a knee-jerk one. There are some liberal causes that I am not that liberal about!

Like many of the demonstrators I am not convinced either by the professed motives or the proposed methods of this war. I admit, I don't have the answers about how to solve the problem of Saddam. Certainly not the ways that have been tried up till now, though I notice that you did not mention the staggering folly of the previous Gulf War where they went in there sacrificing lives on both sides and then walked away without 'finishing the job'!

"People marched because they had enough with the american BS. Unlike many on this board, a whole majority of americans just don't enjoy killing innocent people to further their greedy interests."

The "vast majority of Americans" that joined the world-wide protest in my Florida hometown of Daytona Beach amounted to less than 250 out of a population of more than 500,000 (as reported by the DB News-Journal, a notoriously liberal newspaper). Also, I suspect that many of these protesters are the same lost souls you would see at ANY demonstration, no matter what the cause. From saving manatees to saving the world, many of the same faces of these people who seem to have nothing else in life better to do are seen time and again in eternal protest.

Although that may not have been the intention of most who marched, the demonstrations were the best gift anyone could have given Saddam Hussain at this time. Just at the time when he was starting to get the message that he had to disarm, large numbers of people worldwide took to the streets to protest the "or else". I believe that France and the demonstrations have made war more likely rather than less.

I don't get some people. How many times do I have to say it before it sinks in?

NO MORE USA, EUROPEAN, MILITARY, GOVERNMENT, NATO POSTS!

If you can put a STRONG Dominican slant on it I will leave it up. If you can't, it's gone.

You have been warned!
