DR1 is working on one but not yet

Santiago de los Caballeros in not a tourist town. It is the agricultural, intellectual and industrial heart of the country.

Most of the presidents come from this area and the major industrial and financial leaders are from here also. It is the seat of the Pontifical University Catolica Madre y Maestra.
The UTESA is also located here and the O&M and UASD have branches here. I think the Evangelicals have a university here also. UAPA and UTE (schools for late bloomers) are located in Santiago.
The tobacco business is here as well as cigarettes and cigars, my God are there cigars....
the oldest rum house is located here, Berm?dez. Also located here was the old Tavarez rum factory, now in Macorix.
The L. Le?n Jim?nes Art Gallery will soon open with a fabulous collection of Dominican art. This is sure to be a major cultural attraction. There is a Regional Theater-the same as the one in Santo Domingo. Opera, concerts and so forth.
There is a Folklore museum, which is colorful to say the least./
there are jazz concerts every week and lots of live music. Tons of good restaurants, a couple of casinos.
Jeez, what more do you need to know?
Oh yeah, there are two seminaries, two convents, a few Mormons, 7th Day Adventists, Jehova's Witnesses, Baptists and every other sect you might think about joining.

HB, the know-it-all-in-Santiago (Except for women, which we got lots of)

Always boils down to hookers, in the end

Are they guest friendly ?

BTW, the MOON Travel Publication Dominican Republic Guide is chock full of details to the nth degree including Santiago, La Vega, etc.

For hoochie coochie girls catering to the gringos, you may do better in Boca Chica or Puerto Plata.

I don't think so

Use a motel, take a taxi and forget about bringing a whore into a family oriented establishment. She will stand out like a turd in a punch bowl....Do you know that 80% of DR whores are HIV positive? Go play your games elsewhere. Look honey what I brought back from the DR!!

Site suks!

Spelled Caballeros wrong. Info is way out of date- Tobacco Museum is closed over three years. There is nothing to see at most of the places, mentioned. Yeah, the Monument is impressive.
Even spelled Cibae?as wrong...

Okey, it's something
