The house shook a little last night around 9:10 in Bavaro and at first I thought it was a heavy truck going by or maybe Pepe had dropped his wallet. Didn't see a truck or Pepe. But, then having experienced the same type of motion before when I was in California, I surmised it was an earthquake. There was nothing mentioned in the AM online papers, so I decided to check the USGS website. Behold, it was recorded being located at 18.18N 68.10W, the Mona Passage about 60 miles ESE of La Romana, magnitude of 5.0, almost my back door. Just something to talk about over my next Presidente. Regards, PJT
