AMR is angry with LAN

In according to the latest gossips, AMR is extremely anglry now, they are upset about LAN CHILE's desicion to create LAN DOMINICANA. It seems that LAN will abandon this idea because AMR threatens LAN Chile to throw them from ONE WORLD if they will try to get their passengers from DOM to USA. AA will never give up their daily flight PUJ MIA and will never allow to operate SDQ MIA, ONE WORLD alliance will dictate conditions in this case.

All attempts by LAN DOMINICANA to operate probation flights PUJ MIA during APR8-APR12 failed.

Let's see what will happen.

Lan Dominicana es solo una division de Lan Chile, sin mucho futuro, creo que un vuelo diario a SDQ o PUJ desde MIA en un 767 no es lo mejor para competir con AA, la cual es su asociado y no creo que en estos momentos AA quiera competencia en las rutas de mayor negocio y beneficio.

Pienso que un vuelo de ellos directo desde SCl (chile) a Puj les
abriria un poco mas las puertas..Ya que chile hay mucha promocion sobre PUJ y para mucho de ellos es un paraiso.

Estanley pero no lo hacen como LanDominicana??? asi deberian emperar para atraer turistas locales y personas de negocios..ya que Chile es uno de los paises mas avanzado y con una economia mucho mejor que en Latinoamerica.

El vuelo SCL PUJ MIA existe hace muchos anos, aunque van a crear LAN Dominicana los vuelos seran operados por Lan Chile. Igual como Aerocontinente, esta aerolinea nada tiene que ver con DOM.

Where did you learn that AMR was upset with LanChile about LanDominicana? And do you have any confirmation that Lan Dominicana will not go forward?
