Does it rain daily in Aug &review of Occidental Allegro Playa Real?

I saw a good deal for my 12 year old daughter and I in Aug and am wondering 1-Will it rain daily? 2-Has anyone been to the Occidental ALlegro Playa Real? IS it a decent hotel and accessible to sites, nice beach? If not, any recommendations for a better one at a good price. I really want an all inclusive one and Orbitz listed this one as cheapest. Thanks.

Orbitz seemed very reasonable., at $2,000 for 2 weeks for my daughter and I. What would you suggest? ANd this includes everything.
