I have just recently booked a trip to Puerto Plata for the week of Sept.26 to Oct.3/03. If anyone can comment on the weather during this time I would greatly appreciate it.

What do you want to know? Should be good beach weather, as it always is in the DR. You may get some rain because it is during the hurricane season, but very little chance of having a hurricane or tropical storm pass anywhere near you. More chance of that on the South Coast.
I just wanted to know if it was hurricaine season and if I would expect my weeks stay to consist of mostly rain, but that is out of our control.
It won't matter anyway - I hear that DR is great rain or shine!
Less chance of having the vacation rained out on North Coast than on South Coast. But, yes, there is plenty to do rain or shine. And from all reports, the Breezes has a great activity program.
