I HAVE BEEN ON A FEW SITES THAT HAVE GIVEN ME THE INFO THAT IF I BANK ?100,000 I WOULD GET A MONTHLY INTEREST PAYMENT OF APPROX ?1639 IS THIS TRUE?

MOST unlikely!!! The best the banks will offer for US $'s (they don't like ? sterling) would be about 9% p.a.!! You would get more for Pesos, but who the hell wants pesos at this time of high devaluation??? In pesos it will COST you to invest your money!!!

I have an acount in Puerto Plata in euro at 18% a year.
They will pay me back in euro.
A friend of mine from USA have an acount in $ at 18% too. It's true but it's always a risk as you know.

These high rate investment houses are scary. I know a lot of people recently burnt in Costa Rica. The guys had been paying out for well over a decade. Now some money laundering stuff hit, foreign gov'ts froze their assets and hundreds of people are totally out of luck.

They are out income now, and likely the total principle. Be careful.

The "Brothers" paid 3-4% a month for many years. Even today the people that I have spoken to said that they believe they would have been fine if wasn't for the Government that shut down "Brothers".

There are others in Costa Rica that pay close to this rate now but they are very low key.

Mostly everyone got NOTHING in the end with Brothers.

before investing money in the DR check out the newest bank ratings-- the DR is a financial disaster on wheels. And the financial authorities seem unable or unwilling to deal with the problem. The IMF accord will bring added chaos.

I would send you mail but you don't have email enabled. If you are talking about pesos, AINT INTERESTED. Who would want them?

Tell me where to get 27% on US Dollars and you are the KING!

What he meant to say was ...

By saying you get a 27% rate on your money I assume you mean that when the guy on the corner yells, "Change? Change money?" that you give him a hundred pesos, and he hands you back 27. Which is about what it's worth the next day, right?

And we where not talking about the exchange rates....
I like to explain it to you again ...
I put cahsh into a bank...i got a bank certifica....and now i recieve
very month my interes.

Example

You put US$ 50.000,-
by 27%
you get monthly nearly US$ 1200,-


I am really not kidding...
but like i allready said...you have to know where and how.
When ever you are in the DR let me know...i will help you and give you all the infos you need.

You are full of crap. You do NOT get 27% on US Dollars in a Bank in the DR with 50K and that is the end of it. If you can give a name that I can check out and confirm what you say I will be happy to apologize but it AINT GONNA HAPPEN.

PUT UP OR SHUT UP ALREADY. I am tired of reading your BS that you haven't backed up with nothing but more BS!
