I note that the DR1 posted rates seem to be around the 27 1/2 to 1 which is a reduction from the brief halcyon days of 30:1 - thought I'd ask - what's the cambio rate for cash now? And are they still not buying pesos for US$?

Exchanged on Saturday and got 27.50 at the local Cambio. Don't have any pesos to exchange and I'm quite sure the local cambio would not buy, even if I had some.
