Peso Rate at SDQ

I know the rate changes every day, but has anyone recently changed US Dollars for Pesos at the exchange in the Santo Domingo airport? If so, when and what was the rate?

Thanks for any info.

Today it is probably around 28 or 29. The goverment is pushing very hard at the moment to keep the rate down. Last week it would have been in the 30s.

I changed $10 bucks for lunch at SDQ and the exchange @ Banreservas was 27.90 : 1
