just recently, in the u.k., a farmer, tony martin, shot and killed one burglar and shot and injured another in his home, when he caught them in the act.
he was sent to prison for manslaughter. the burglar who survived is now about to sue the farmer for 'post traumatic stress'.
i think i understand the heat of the moment reactions, but killing is going too far.
the man who used to be in the 'pica pica' advertisements on the television (pica pica is/was a fabric shop on mella avenue), wasn't he shot in one of those heat of the moment situations?
i believe he hit someone while driving his vehicle, he tried to flee from the scene, but someone chased after him. when he refused to stop, the chaser shot and killed him.........shame really. some of those pica pica adverts were quite funny.
