Banco Central Certificates

Just a further sorry update following on from previous posts on the BanInter situation.

Having finally got my Banco Central replacement certificate, after a lot of hassle, and waiting patiently for the interest, I find they've cocked up and issued a certificate where the interest is paid at the end of the year, not monthly as I applied for.

This, I am promised, can be resolved, but only following a trip by myself to Santiago, although they've admitted it's their error.

The Certificate doesn't indicate whether or not the interest is "capitazable" (i.e. paid monthly), or whatever the word is, but as that is what I had applied for, and I checked this again when I received the certificate, I assumed it would be OK, until I tried to access my dosh.

If anyone needs their interest to live on, and has maybe already been waiting a bloody long time for it, then I would suggest you don't take anything for granted and check out that they haven't made any mistakes. Asi es la vida aqui.
