How far is Sousua Beach from Punta Cana?

We traveled to DR in "95 and '96 (Puerta Plata). On both trips we vistited Sousua Beach. We had the the same "secretary" -Michael both time. We are going to Punta Cana at the end of July. How far is Sousua from PC???

You rally have to go around the whole country to do it on the road as per the last reply it would be quite a trip. Even a car would be horrible to do. All the way to the capitol then up through Santiago and then to PP/Sosua.

Sounds like my next visit to Sousua will have to be on a Puerta Plata trip NOT Punta Cana!

YES

It is a horrendous drive...

The only spots that are okay is the highway heading up through Juan Dolio and Boca Chica and then once out of the capital on the highway.... everything else is a mess...
