Does anyone know if it is possible to get Canadian TV stations (CBC, CTV, etc.) by satellite on the North Coast?

Not on cable. Probably if you have satellite. If you need a Canadian fix, you can get it from shortwave radio.

Newsworld International is owned by CBC, Canada's national broadcaster.

Couldn't you get it over the internet? I'm in Calgary right now listening to Super K...so if I can do that I would assume you should be able to do it with canadian stations.

And a well aligned 10' solid dish might give you access. Even though I've been told that they changed the footprint making it harder to get. I was able to get some programming on a 6' but the good channels (RDS, TSN etc.) were too weak.
