In everyone's oppinion... what is the best bank to open up a bank account in? We are in Puerto Plata area, it will not hold alot of cash at any given time because I am hesitant to deposit too much. Also is it better to open it in dollars or pesos?

Do an archive search on this. I remember a post from Hillbilly not too long ago, where he posted a very good analysis of good banks. You'll find a lot of info in the archives.
