I live in Caberete and want to buy a Harley. Is there any dealerships in this country? If so, where? Do they have much of a selection? Or where else can I find one?

Thanks!!! :alien:

There is a Harley Davidson Dealship in Santo Domingo on the corner of John F. Kenendy and Abraham Lincoln.

The guy asked a question, not your opinion. I deleted it.

As Tony C said you can buy new Harleys in Magna Motors, which is located in the corner of J.F. Kennedy with Lincoln, almost next to the McDonalds.

Any place else other than Magna Motors(?). Any place in Cabarete?

Anyone got an idea for a price range?

$4500 in Santo Domingo. 19K miles when the odo stopped (3 mos. ago so says he).

Sounds like a deal to me . . .

Course I'm a newbie with the Harleys too. Any opinions?

You believe the bike is 14 years old and only has 19K miles on it?

I'm not saying the milage is right, but I have freinds with Harley's and they all have very low milage. Most riders I know here only pull them out on special ocasions.

Seems highly suspicious coupled with being told that the odometer supposedly stopped working "3 months ago".

I agree with you. I have gone through the process of buying a late model (2002) car here, unless you know the full service history of the vehicle, it's best to either stick with what you got or buy new. I'll be posting about my expericences in a day or two in a new thread.
