Just came back and brought coffee, rum and cigars back with me.
At the resorts Cafe Tostado en grano Santo Domingo was $70-90 RD, my wife said it was too expensive so I didn't buy any, it was $50 RD in Santo Dom, wife said it was still too expesive so when we got back to Jarabacoa I bought 3 lbs at 38 rd a piece. The same story for rum and cigars. I got a ten pack of Aurora finos for $275rd. I checked the price in the dutyfree and they were $11 US.
Brugal extra old $150RD for the 26 oz and the same for Barcelo Imperial premium blend( my personnal fav). So if you are there on a vacation go to a local supermarket or corner store in a non tourist area and you'll save a few bucks.
