Do a search here and at Debbie's Dominican Travel boards http://debbiesdominicantravel.community.everyone.net/community/scripts/directory.pl for "Ocean World" or see their website at http://www.ocean-world.info/ The reviews have been very, very good.

They are located in Cofresi just west of Puerto Plata.

There is also one called Manati Park in Punta Cana but it has received mixed reviews.

Dolphins

There are two programs, dolphin swim and dolphin encounter. The swim is booked out for two weeks in advance (in September demand should decrease), so making reservations before you go might be a good idea. The encounter can be booked at your hotel once you're here.

Here in Punta Cana you can go to Manati Park. I know that If you book the tour with Barcelo Viajes, they'll give you a ticket to visit the Park and u will also swim with dolphins.

U can't miss this experience. It's so wonderful!!! I loved it!

There are 3 main tourist areas in the Dominican Republic, they are several hours drive apart and all have different international airports.

Do a search on a map of the Dominican Republic so that you can get an idea.

To summarize:
The North Coast is served by the Puerto Plata airport. This area includes Luperon, Sosua, Cofresi, Maimon, Cabarete, and obviously PoP. Ocean World is located in Cofresi between Puerto Plata and Maimon.

The East Coast is Punta Cana/Bavaro and it has its own airport. Manati Park is located there.

The south is Santo Domingo, Bayahibe, La Romana and Juan Dolio. They have Santo Domingo and La Romana airports.
