Probably m?quina, Spanish for machine.

Yeah, it means machine but can be used in lots of different contexts.

For example a 'm?quina de tabaco' is a cigarette machine but 'm?quina' can also be used to to say that somebody is very good at something:

e.g. Eres una m?quina bailando = You're a great dancer

I hope that helps but, as I said, it depends on the context on which it was used, like a lot of things in Spanish!
