POPUPS Blocker

I'm about to postal with all these freakin pop-ups and before I go coo-coo, loco, matto, crazy ( you get the picture ), can someone please tell me if there're any good pop-ups blockers that I can download or buy.

Download the Google toolbar and set the pop-up blocker on the toolbar to block popups. 100% Free and 100% Effective.

I'have used AdShield for a long time. I downloaded the free trial version and it is still working. It provides lots of options of customizing what you want to block. You can also block "on the fly". Here's the link

Yep, Google....

is pick of the litter. Works like hell. Popular free download is AdAware V6. Used it and not bad.

Switch from IE to Mozilla release 1.4 or 1.5 (free) and it has built in blocking. And it isn't IE which is a big big plus with its assorted 5000 security flaws you have to patch, re-patch and patch some more.

And it has tabbed browsing.

For the mac , Mozilla or Safari, both free both block popups. I wouldn't pay one cent for the commerical ones.

Use the Google tool bar, no popups here in months........

Mozilla won't do Office 2000 type scrolling - a HuGE negative for those who dislike having to click on scroll bars.

Popup blockers are available from various sources.
