has anyone ever been to the puerto plata village,or fun tropicale?

im from canada, and the first year i stayed at the Puerto Plata Village resort, what a blast 24 hour bar and restaurant. the second year I was at the Fun Tropicale, it was okay, but the people were too family oriented. not enough partying. besides the disco wasnt open late enough. next year i want to go to sosua, has anyone been there yet? i have a friend who lives in sosua,so atleast ill hit all the party spots with my girlfriends.

I used to work at Puerto Plata Village - and yes, it's a great place but if you are looking for all night bars - there are a few right in Puerto Plata that I walked out of at 6 am many a times !!!! That is if you want to party with the locals. Wherever you go - you will have fun 'cause you are on vacation remember. Just find a trustworthy non-sanky to take you out - just remember that a bar is just a bar when you are on the dance floor with a lot of tourists but a Dominican dance club is an experience !!!
