I am looking for contact information to book a judge to perform a wedding in Puerta Plata. I will be staying at the Victoria resort.

I am looking to avoid paying for a resort wedding package. All I need is a judge. I am aware of all the legal requirements.

thanks very much

Hi Steve,

Greetings from Nova Scotia.

If you haven't already committed to the Victoria Resort you might consider Puerto Plata Village. It also is in the Playa Dorada complex and offers a FREE WEDDING PACKAGE!!!

See http://www.puertoplatavillage.com/PPV/Weddings.html

Breezes POP ( http://www.breezes.com/resort_br_puertoplata/index.asp )also is shown as offering Free Weddings on this chart ( http://www.superclubs.com/includes/Amenities.htm ) but you have to call for details and to verify conditions 1 (877) 467-8737 Ext. 6641 M - F 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

They will probably be more expensive but a better resort IMHO.

Good luck.

Canuckcanuck: I understand what you are saying but believe me if you want to avoid any grief and are committed to the Victoria and do not speak very fluent Spanish then you will have to go with theri package.

Weddings are a very stressful time to say the least. Trust me I know! Getting married in a different country adds to the stress. My niece gave me some advice before I got married. In the final days count on everything going nutty and being very crazed and possibly going to hell. Guess what, in the final week everything does go to hell. Even with the best preparation and planning.

Save yourself some stress. Go with the package or take the recommendations posted here. Best of all good luck! The nice part about getting married here is the honeymoon.
