-The killing of Isidro Zayas, the man who was shot to death by people wearing DNCD uniforms in his home at Arroyo Hondo is no surprise at all. His death was expected at any time. Zayas was even in more danger than his former boss Martin Abreu, one of Hippos assistants, who was stuffed with 20 pieces of lead at Trio Cafe.
Everybody in this city knows about how this guy went about abusing and taking advantage of his protection from his connections with PPH people and top generals in the army. Zayas was a hated man everywhere, except in Villa Juana, where as a typical Dominican York type, he used to give out money to the poor people there to gain popularity and show off his riches. But Zayas also wanted to aspire a status in "high society" and bought properties in high income areas and mingle with society, including joining exclusive clubs in Naco, Arroyo Hondo. Zayas was driving condo owners at the Carola IV condo in NACO crazy with his loud parties, loud women, gun shootings in the roof of the tower and parking lot fights and arguments. Zayas used to take up every parking space available in the area, including blocking sidewalks. Club Naco is now considering cancelling his family membership. Zayas used to be just as loud there and acted as a bully. The club could do nothing because of his paid connections. Even in the private school his children attended, he used to bully his way. It has been said that the Montessori school was considering expelling the children after the killing, but the school principal has denied it. Most likely Montessori will wait till next year to do so. They know this is not going to end here.
Zayas had problems with the U.S. government. His visa was cancelled because he was involved in illegal boat people business and selling visas thru INSTRAW, a U.N. division related to children protection, where this mafiosi was able to infiltrate.
The police is keeping very quiet about this, and if it were not for the press, they would have suppressed this event. They claim he was only shot seven times. But the rumor has it that he was shot more than 40 times and that even his tongue is gone. He was played a mafia style treason, where his bodyguards were pulled out from under him under conditions we all know about. Police also claims to have 3 people arrested. This is no joke...they have the servants!!!!!

He used to shoot guns, machine guns and other high caliber weapons from the rooftop of his villa there that many people fear that certain unexplained deaths related to loose bullets were caused by these shootings in the air. His noisy parties in Jarabacoa were endless and caused fights and accidents in the area. His parties were always attended by generals and many military people, as well as politicians under his payroll. He had a fleet of Jaguars, a helicopter which was used for political campaigns for "you know who", high speed boats that were never touched by the navy and transported "you know what", he was developing a hotel in SPM, furniture shop, a mansion in Gala. Even his chopo mansion in Villa Juana cost $22 million. But this was a palace to bad taste, with gold painted appliances and loud colors. His children were equally loud and used to flaunt expensive toys. He had 3 Harleys and used to drive thru Piantini early mornings waking up the neighborhood.
