VIVA starts flights from AUA

VIVA is announcing again that they are flying, this time it is another plan, Aruba Airlines which is like a subsidary of VIVA now published the follow timetable:

Royal Aruban Airlines, a Viva International Parter, had announced that ticket sales for flights from Ft Lauderdale to Aruba to Curacao would begin October 27, 2003. These sales will unfortunately be delayed. This temporary setback is due to unforeseen problems with bringing the reservations system online and a handful of other concerns. We are working diligently to resolve these issues and were perhaps too optimistic in our timetable when it was announced on October 15, 2003 that we would be selling tickets on October 27, 2003. An updated ticket sales date will be announced shortly, via both a press release from Viva International, Inc and this website. December 1, 2003 is still our target date for our inaugual flights.


Royal Aruban Airlines, in partnership with Viva International, Inc, is preparing to begin daily scheduled service in the Caribbean. Please see our news section for information about a delay in the beginning of our ticket sales. As of December 1, 2003, the following schedule will be active for daily service:

It seems that the schedule was created like: let's fly this route, ok, go ahead, let's fly as much as we can, this is the way VIVA works. Looks horrible, but this is their reality.


V5 code will bring them bad luck, they should learn about story of its previous owner, russian carrier VNUKOVO AIRLINES *V5* had such a dark past. :bandit:

Another paper airline published virtual timetable. Without study of market and knowing what is aviation it is in the air.

You seem to be attached to VIVA and I think I know who you are, anyway you can't call me ignorant because VIVA could not fly in DR, they are a group of charlatans, people who have no idea about aviation. You can state here about your relationship with VIVA. Until now VIVA used to make people laughing all the time with its astronomica plans to, numerous fleet and lack of money. What a carrier, the plane is just more than 30 years old, but anyway it is VIVA, so what do we expect?
