I well be vacationing at an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana next week. Should I bring some local currency or can US dollars be used?

U.S dollars can be used but I would bring Canadian $ and exchange your $ for pesos when you get there. If you can get to bank you will get a better exchange rate there than at the Hotel.

I guess I'm being "nosey," but why would you suggest that Rick bring Canadian Dollars vs. US when he gave no indication of being Canadian?

What does it cost?

About how much does it cost to go to the Dominican Republic for a week? This would include airfare. I'm doing a report on it. Thanks
