The main newspapers are:
Listin Diario. Owned by the Intercontinental Group, (BANINTER). Because of the Baninter fraud it`s been managed by the goverment, and in this moment is in favor of it.
El Caribe. Owned by Grupo Financiero Popular, owners of the BPD, the biggest bank in the country.
Hoy. Part of Corripio`s Media Group.

In the Free newspapers segment, the main newspapers are:
Diario Libre. Owned by the Pelleranos (Who were the owners of Bancredito, and are at this moment running from justice). The Bonetti are also shareholders in this Media Group (OMNIMEDIA), publishers of Rumbo, Mujer Unica, and owners of TV Station Antena Latina CH7.
El Expreso. Part of the Intercontinental Group. Controled by the Goverment, at this moment.
El Dia. Part of Corripio`s Media Group.
