Hi all,
I remember a post with people asking about downloading digital pix from their cameras while traveling. I just bought a solution.
I got a device with 20 gigs of storage. You just pop in your memory card and download it to a file. This should store about 10,000 full res pictures and it is small and very portable.
I paid US$202.00 for it.
Do a search on ebay for " image tank" for full details.

I guess you could do that, but

I usually go to an internet cafe and burn them onto a CD. As long as CD's continue to be priced at 3 cents to 8 cents each, the economics are hard to beat.

My buddy has an old beat-up laptop computer that he uses as his portable solution. Works great for him!

Hi Swede,

Do most of the internet cafe's have cd burners? In Cabarete, for instance? Any info that you or anyone else could provide would be great.
